What does the message "Unknown address 4504: Message not found" mean?

My device is a sprint samsung galaxy S4. I recently made the text messaging setting for my phone to "block unknown senders" on accident. That is when I got the "unknown address 4504" message not found" message. I changed the setting back to allow unknown numbers to message me, however is there a way I can retrieve the message I got while this setting was applied? Thanks!

Since the message is transient - the only places it's permanent are on the sender's phone and yours - probably not unless you know who sent it.
