What does this mean when sending a text msg.

I just sent a txt msg with 3 smiley faces, no text. I got an instant "chime" that there was a response, but all I saw was my msg with an icon that looks like an envelope with a red check mark through it. What does that icon mean and how do I know my msg went through?

Maybe the message was too long and it auto shortened it? Was it a txt or mms?

If the message sent was recieved by the recipient(s), then you have nothing to worry about. Most times these are just network glitches. A battery pull should fix that.

Thanks, all. The msg was smilies only... nothing else. Was received. Battery is new and holding a charge beautifully.
