Help What exactly is MMS

I read that MMS incoming doesn't work on the roms yet. Is mms the standered txt messaging service, or is it only used for picture message. Will i be able to revieve regular txts from other phones with the roms? Thanks!

sms = short messaging service = text
mms = multi media messaging service = pictures and video via sms.

Text messaging will work fine, but you'll need to send pics and video via email.

You can send them just fine, receiving them is not the same however. And I believe the incoming MMS is only broken on 2.3 roms. 2.2 roms should still be fine. But like I told you in the other thread, research your roms before flashing them so you know what is broken/work in progress.
