So I ran into the bug on the X where it stopped ringing, and had to do a factory reset. I then tried to get it back to its previous settings and such, but I no longer hear the Droid notification sound when I turn it off or on. It's still my default sound, and I can get it to make all other sounds like ringtone and text sound. Prior to the reset, it would always say Droid at boot up and shutdown... I miss it. Help!
Edit: Went to VZW for another issue and asked about this. Thier "techy" guy who also has an X said he hadn't noticed it stopping, but tried it on his and lo and behold, no "Droid" sound. There are no (obvious) settings to enable/disable this. Has anyone else noticed their notification sounds stopped? It should sound at turn on/off, plugging into your USB port and maybe charger (can't remember). I still have 2.1, and I am not rooted, so we can rule those out as causes.
