Root What happens when I install 2.3? OFW

Hey all, when 2.3 OFW comes out of course i'll install it!
But what happens to my rooted device? Will it return back to it's original unrooted state? like when I bought it new? or will it just be like flashing a new rom in?

It will probably depends how you install it. If you use SEUS or PC Companion to download and install the copy of 2.3 from your cell provider when they release it, then it will install their branded version.

If you download the generic 2.3 and use the x10 loader tool to install it, then you will probably be able to reflash it.

You will probably need to reflash.

It will probably wipe everything from the local RAM....not like a baby update.....like a 1.6 to 2.1 update....full version update.
