What happens when you run out of internal memory, and can't download anymore apps. I have looked around, and found that you can't save apps to the SD card...So, what happens when you run out of internal memory? (I am using an HTC Eris, if that makes a difference). Sorry if the answer is obvious, but I am new to Android, but I did research for an answer.

It should warn you when you are running low of memory. But if you think you will run out of space for apps you really won't.

Google is also working on solution for this, to enable installing apps on sd cards rather than internal memory.

If you actually do get to the point where you run out of memory for apps (very unlikely) then you can root your phone to enable custom apps to sd solution.

Yeah, I have seen some things about rooting the phone. What exactly is that? Thanks for your help!
