What header looks best?

I like the first one but just for the picture itself, doesn't really fit with the rest of the page.

Last one probably gets my vote but it would be nice if the gradient between the two colors transitioned a little smoother, it looks kinda "low res" with how grainy it gets.
 
That one. No, not that one, the other one.. yup, that's the one, that's the ticket. The other one is not as good, I must say. So if you change it so it is more like that one, it's Aces.

Seriously, I like 'A'
 
in order:

A, B, C.

A because its a landscape photograph and I like those. C last because I dont like the rendering.
 
I am in the process of rebuilding my header image on my website and I was wondering what defines my website.

What do you think?
 
From a UX perspective, your header is way too tall. It's a case of form over function.

But if we're talking only about the form, the header with the photo looks the best to me. Otherwise, it's just too much space for a solid color or gradient.

Reduce the height by 50% and the page will look more balanced. And the gradient options will have more appeal.

Looks pretty good. Any reason you decided to remove your W logo rather than scale it down as well?
