I'm trying to clean up disk storage and a file called ".frb" under "miscellaneous files." I can't find any description of this on a search. Does anyone know what this is and if I can delete it? I'n on a HTC One M8.
Thanks much!

I'm not sure how I missed that one but thank you. The weird thing is that it's a hidden file (i.e., just called ".frb") with no filename, so that makes me suspicious that it's some kind of malware. Or should I saw "was"... It's gone now!
Thank you, r
No, I don't really download anything on the phone -- at least not that I'm aware of. I deleted it already and considering the fact that I couldn't really find anything by googling "droid .frb file" I assume everything will still work!
It's a hidden file because it starts with a period. That triggers a file to be hidden on android. My best guess would be that (given the description of an frb file) is that it's something from your work? And perhaps it was in an email and your device automatically downloaded the attachment...
Yes, but also on my computer and I have no attachments called that. It might, however, be related to the free MS Office I downloaded recently or based on the description, an IBM report file for an app I have from them. Anyway, so far so good, and thanks for the help!
