what is a good app for reminders?

Let's say, for example, somebody asks you to call them in six weeks.

Is there an app that would let me go to the calendar and write....."call so-and-so today."

AND allow me to put it into dropbox and sync it with my phone.

Sort of like a non-Microsoft Outlook version for android.

I second Google Calendar. I use ColorNote for notes like this as well. It can snyc to multiple devices as well.

Is great. Especially when you use it in conjunction with Google Now. I take advantage of the support for event colours and event duration. I've set events as far as a year into the future.

i use google calandar and find it good for doing the job, i have also used google keep which isnt bad either.

Google Keep works as well. The latest update allow you to set reminders.

The problem with using a Samsung app is that if you ever get a non-Samsung phone transitioning will be more difficult.
