What is an acceptable selling price for my note 2 Now?

On craigslist you should be able to get $300-$350 depending on condition and included accessories. I sell phones all the time.

T-Mobile gave me $275 trade-in on my Note 3. You would think they are going to refurb it and turn around and sell it for more at some point.

Looking over these post, I don't feel so bad now. There is a place locally here in OKC that buys tmobile note 3s for 300.00. All they wanted was the phone and battery. So I'll get a few more bucks for all the accessories.
I was just so ready to get my note 3 that I thought I might have rushed the sale.....guess I did well.

I just became aware of swappa.com, I'm gonna list my bionic on there. Its cool cause you can see what the phones have sold for to give you an idea of the going rate. Any experiences with them would be greatly appreciated folks...

Traded in my white note 2 at bestbuy when I bought my white note 3. They gave me a $200 gift card which I thought was a fair price. I had several deep scratches and gouges around the edges of the phone and some small light scratches on the screen. The deep gouges came when I installed an Otterbox defender case and couldn't take it off again without using a wire cutter! If you are able to get over $200 for the note 2 you got a great price in my opinion.

The sales girl at bestbuy didn't even look over my phone closely so I am the one that pointed out all the damages. I did so because I didn't want bestbuy contacting me and requesting money back.

I went through best buy because I was going to upgrade through them anyway. Offering went down 1 week prior to the note 3 release, but I got 262.50+extra 50 for telrade in plus program that accompanied geek squad protected phones. That was for phone, battery and charger. I have heard great things about Sold, as far as convenience is concerned. Swappa has gotten good reviews also.

If you have the patience for it, eBay or Craigslist can still get decent value.

Depends how long you want to fart around with time wasters on craigs list or what not. I would assume $250-290 quick sale.
I sold an almost brand new S4 for $350 recently.

I've recently seen the note 2s on ebay for $350 - $450 depending on condition and accessories.

i've always been hesitant to sell on ebay because of their buyer protection program that automatically side with the buyer...the buyer can say you shipped a box of rocks and you'll be out of the phone and the money when paypal pulls the fund...

True. But I had a good selling experience with my Note 2, and past phones. At least there are still some honest people on Ebay haha.

just sold my Note2 with box, in perfect condition on Craigslist for $320...I could have gotten more on ebay, however, after the fees, it comes out to about the same price....

Seller is protected to a certain extent also. I have limited the amount of products I sell on eBay, just because it's too easy for people to commit fraud.

Even if I state minimum requirements for bidding, people don't read. Nonetheless, I also take pictures of my boxing the items and video, so there is no way eBay can side with a fraudulent buyer.

The combination of eBay and PayPal fees are what make selling on eBay difficult, since they take a big chunk of the total, prior to even shipping

Yea, the fees are crazy. That's why I charged so much to ship when it actually cost me around $9 bucks for shipping. Craigslist is kinda crazy these days as a former cop, I worked a lot of cases of robbery and/or killings, just over a stupid Craigslist ad. That's why when I do sell a item over $200-250, I only sell to my local state, some people think you cant file criminal charges against them, the so called "anonymity of the internet" makes them think they can get away with it. A real good sight is theoutdoorstrader. com, kinda like Craigslist and eBay. It had feedback and you can post ads and talk on a forum. Good thing is nooooo fees. Hope you guys can get a good price for your note 2. It definitely made the transition to the note 3 a little less affordable for me. Plus Verizon will give you $300 a new device. So I got a good deal and kept my unlimited data.
