What is Android Excel viewer data amount limitation?

Does anyone has successful experiences opening any Excel 2003 2,5MB (15.000 rows) single sheet xls files on Android Phone? Opening file on LG E510 using Polaris and Quickoffice viewer failed. Polaris opened up to 7000 rows and then lost the rest, while latest version of Quick Office Pro xls opening efforts just turned device into unresponsive brick, until restarted.
Motorola Defy+ Quick Office just stopped with error - not enough memory.

Is there at all any hope, that such a tiny mobile Android device can handle this huge amount of data? Any suggestions?

Now checking the same with tablet Samsung 8.9 and Asus A501.
It appears that no one of Android Excel applications isn't capable to display my spreadsheet date column, which is just displayed as serial number, instead of correct date.
When opening some applications give a notice of insufficient calculating power, which obviously is the reason, why Excel date column doesn't display normally.

I have tested Polaris 3, Office Suite Pro 5.5, Documents to Go 3.0 but no one isn't capable to display Excel file properly :-(

MS Excel file original version is 2003 and I also converted this into 2010 format, but no change. All 3 just can't display real spreadsheets.
Any ideas how to fix? Thanks!
