What is difference between airplane mode and mobile data. Going to mexico with my sprint S3 but want to use wifi only
 
Airplane mode turns off all the radios - mobile data, Bluetooth, telephone and wifi. Most phones then let you turn on whichever radio(s) you want. Try it before you go. Turn on Airplane mode, then try to turn wifi on. (And make sure you can turn the phone itself on if you expect to use it in Mexico.)
