What is e.pdf?

Last night, a file named e.pdf downloaded itself to my phone, without any action on my part. I don't have automatic update turned on for any of my apps. It put itself on the SD card in /mnt/sdcard/download.

I don't intend to open it, fearing some sort of malware.

Anyone have a clue?

No idea, but delete it right away. PDF files have been known to carry virus.

Not sure that's what it really was. It was a PDF file named e.pdf. Kinda hard to believe that a PDF creator software would be delivered in a pdf file. Regardless, it was downloaded without any action on my part. Thanks anyway.

You didn't download any apps with the DroidDream (or DreamDroid or whatever the heck it was, it's been a long day) trojan, did you? Supposedly that could download files on its own. I haven't heard of any cases of that actually occurring, though.
