Root What is going on with Superuser!?

Every once in a while, twice a day usually, I keep getting "shell has been granted Superuser permissions." It would happen about 6 times in a row, then stop. What is causing this, it's like I have a virus on this phone or something. This started when I rooted my phone which worries me a bit. Thanks!

Is your wifi tether still running? Does it happen after webtop? Maybe it has something to do with that entitlement check?

When rooting, the Superuser binaries are installed automatically. That is what grants you "administrator mode" to aid you in enabling any root based features you were going for.

A place to check for potential causes:

App Drawer>Superuser>Apps This should show you your apps that have Superuser permissions.

If you slide to the right there is a log stating which apps were granted super user access, and when.

If these activities are authorized and the notifications annoy you, you can open SU, select Settings and disable notifications. Keep in mind that disabling notifications could reduce your chance of noticing something malicious in the future.

Let me know if this helps.

Well, somehow, I got it straight. It hasn't come back in a couple of days. I just checked the apps, and none of them have access. I think it had something to do with ES File Manager, but, I'm not exactly sure.
