Help What is needed to use USB on Galaxy Tab 10.1?

Hi folks,

Sorry for what may seem like a silly question but what do I need to connect peripherals to the Tab 10.1 using USB?

I realize that, from a hardware point of view, I need to get a suitable adaptor. It would appear that these are available from Amazon. But, what next? Do I need to install drivers, etc? I see that there are several USB apps on Android Market - should I install one of these?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Unless ou want to install a USB device that has file system different than FAT32, you will be fine, nothing else is needed.

Szadzik,

Can the SGT10.1 be connected via USB to a USB printer? Again, do I need to install drivers or anything else on the tab?

Thanks.

I know it supports wireless printing, but have not heard about connecting it via USB. I doubt it would work as probably drivers would be missing.

Thanks, guys. Looks like I need to consider a WiFi-enabled printer as I don't want the hassle of having to fire up my laptop just to print a document.
