What is Safe Mode?

[Android Question]

My Galaxy Proclaim (Verizon/Straight Talk) is in Safe Mode. How to get out of safe mode. What is safe mode?

[matt1994]

1. Turn the phone off,
2. Turn it back on and hold the volume up button.

Hope this helps.
