I need a free security app for my new cell phone. Any suggestions please?
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
You don't need one if you only install apps from the Play Store and leave 'Settings > Security > Unknown sources' UNchecked.
I use Lookout and TrustGo.

Is it safe to use two antivirus at the same time?
Is the Play Store safe? I read some news that Google Play has experienced some recent malware and fake apps infestations. But I am not sure if it is true or not

Yes,But I still use an antivirus on my phone because I surf the web and download a lot of crap on my phone. Then I transfer it to my computer. This is why I use an antivirus on my phone.
I agree with you! I always use an antivirus on my phone too. But have to choose the best, cause there are many fake antivirus apps even on the Play Store

1) Anything malicious for PC, i.e. Windows, is not going to touch Android at all, things like .EXEs, malicious JPGs, DOCs, MP3s, which could contain malicious x86 Windows code(code injection exploits) or macros for MS Office documents.
2) Would an AV running on Android actually check for Windows malware, viruses or trojans?
Really the only way to make Android run anything malicious is to install it via an APK, something you download and install. Likewise of course a PC doesn't know what to do with an Android APK file.
