what is the bird chirp

new Samsung Galaxy S3 4g Verizon. birdchirp every couple of minutes. what is it? how do I get rid of it?
 
The bird chirps is one of the notification sounds found on the S3, so to get rid of it, go into settings/sounds/ringtones and notifications/ and then you should be able to see what notification is set to the "chirps" sound. Click on that setting and change that sound to whatever notification sound you like better, or silent if you prefer.:)
