Accessories What is the black circle on the back?

Okay so I was looking at the cases for the DX and I noticed a big gaping hole on the back bottom of the case.

I know there is the speaker hole and mic there, but there is another bigger black circle right above the google logo.

Probably a dumb question, but what the heck is that?

Hmm... okay. Hopefully the cases will reflect the change and will just allow room for the speaker and mic.
