what is the easiest way to back up EVERYTHING?

Okay, I cracked my screen on the myTouch 4G. I've downloaded a lot of apps, ringtones, etc. I'm going to go to t-mobile and get a replacement.

Is there any way to save everything (I'm not worried about email or contacts because I know it's stored on my google account). But it would be a pain to download all those apps and remember the specific apps that I had to find to customize my phone. If I go back to a stock phone, there's no way I'll remember which stuff I had installed to make my phone like it was. Not to mention, I'll probably have to purchase some of them again?

Any shortcut to getting the look and feel back without writing down all my saved apps and starting over?

My backup pro seems to be good if your not rooted. Another thing I do is install appbrain. Sync it with the phone and account and all the apps appear there. Then one by one reinstall via pc
