Root What is the most stable rom for the optimist v

I used to own a optimus v then switched to the connect 4g on metro. After the announcement of the nexus 7 I want to ditch that expensive bill and have this mid range phone with the awesome tablet ...(totally off topic I know) anyways I see SO many kernels ,roms and what not. What is the best thing to load up on this sucker. Ice preferred. Thanks

Well the most stable roms for it are gingerbread IHO. There are several variants all are good quality roms. If you want ics there are some available but none of them is past beta testing so while they are coming along nicely they still have bugs. If you really want to know try several out.
