What is the number "2" means in the Kitkat OS?

Hi,

I have the copper colour Z3. When I go to about phone and press the android version lots of times, the number "2" comes out. Press it few times then android kitkat comes out. When I use my Samsung Note 3, the letter "K" comes out signifying kitkat. So what is the number 2 signify?
