What is this app?

[stephofthedead]

I just got this notification saying I won an ipad2... ok I know it's a scam and I didn't click on it. But I was wondering which app is sending me this message? So that I can delete it. The icon is a green plus sign (+)

Thanks for your help.

Get an air push detector app from the market. It should be able to tell you which app is causing the ads.

Use the add blocker and get rid of that.

The only app I can find under that is AD Blocker & Data Toggle Trial, which gets some funky reviews. Is this the one you mean?

Will try an airpush ad detector. What about the green + sign? Is it the icon from an app or is it the icon for ads?

[jefboyardee]

it works like a charm...

Okay, you talked me into it. I presume I have to block all the apps except ones that must be online to operate?

Duh, I shoulda thought of this: it’s hard to tether when online access is being blocked. Otherwise, AD Blocker does seem to work.
