The one on the left is the BoomSound icon. That is the Icon you get when you play audio from the phone. :)

How weird. Wasn't playing audio and it just .... appeared. Hmmm......

And thanks! It was bugging me beacuae I didn't know what it was :)

BoomSound is only available when using headphone. The icon probably comes on when you connect headphones to your handset

Boomsound is actually available with wired headphones and the internal speakers. It will not work with Bluetooth headphones-At least with Sprint with their latest update which removed Boomsound BT functionality

The Boomsound icon doesn't activate when just plugging in the headphones themselves.

It turns on any time you might be scrolling thru an app or internet. Doesn't mean the audio will play unless you have the volume up. I just ignore it now that I figured that out. Nothing we can do anyways. I can't even turn it off in the settings not that I would want to.

It only appear when you play song, video and gaming. I won't turn on when not doing anything related to sound. Not gonna appear when change ringtones.

That's the boomsound icon. It doesn't necessarily appear when playing "music" or a video. It appears every time any audio is played, may it be a whatsapp voice note, an ad on any website, instagram video, anything with audio. Practically means your speakers are activated.
