It's a piece of crap knock off.
This is my favorite spec:
"2.8 inch high definition touch screen, QVGA, 320x240"

I would imagine the seller is using the iPhone image to attract (unsuspecting) buyers.

Double insult for me, Froyo and 2.8" screen, Im literally crying right now!!!!! THE SELLER SHOULD DIE IN A HOLE!!!!
 
Welcome to the wonderful world of cheap Chinese clones.
Where the prices are cheap, the build quality is poor, and customer service is non existent.
I stumbled on this site the other day.
I love how they change the names to HDC (HTC) or just Hero, etc.
They've already got a clone of my SIII.
 
I have reported it to ebay as a probable forgery but with 2 hours to go they haven't removed it. It would be interesting if the Apple Legal Team gave them a ring.:smokingsomb:

Technically it's not forgery. They are not selling it as the iPhone. It just looks like the iPhone (mostly). And I don't think companies in China worry about forgeries anyways. China copyright laws
I'm sure Apple's 'oh so busy' lawyers are fighting this battle on some front.

A valid point. The few things that keep me from purchasing these...

1) the fact that who knows if they touched the source code. Could get my sensitive information.

2) Price. Sure, it seems cheap. And it is. If the price were around $50...I may consider it. But you shell out that much and sneeze, your phone could easily break.

3) I'm on a cdma network :P

Obviously the first two points are more relevant and valid, I just felt like throwing the third in.

But they are selling it in the UK where such things are covered by the Intellectual Property Law http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types.htm The thing doesn't have to be marked Iphone, it simply has to have enough similarity in design.

Well it says...."Item location: Bedfordshire, United Kingdom"...that could be a euphemism for "Guangdong, China" .. probably where this phone actually is.

Whomever wrote the product description and specs, English is apparently not their first language... "put out the biggest size is 640x480", "U disk under the third party software"

No they specified delivery time as "4-6 working days" and "2nd class recorded delivery". If it was recorded delivery there would be a tracking number and the senders address. Probably smuggled in through Customs from China and distributed here.
 
Fascinating fact; I started a thread about this on the ebay discussion forums and they removed it and sent ME a stinging email accusing me of "breaching community rules" and warning me not to do it again! This was despite the fact that at no time did I name the seller(s) even in general terms.:o
