When I pull the notification bar down it is not there. I would like to get rid of it. Thanks

You want to know what that symbol is we would like to know what device you got . looks like Samsung and are you rooted.if a Samsung its the NFC if your not rooted you can't get rid of it but you can disable the NFC .


NFC enabled.*NFC*(near field communication)*provides a *fast way to share*small files. By tapping two NFC enabled devices, you can quickly share some files. The notification icon is shown whenever NFC is activated on your Galaxy S5.For larger files, WiFi direct usually is a better option
