What is your brightness setting?

Every device I have such as MP3, cellphone, psp etc, my brightness setting is always on the LOWEST setting. I even installed screen filter to make my android darker. What about you?

Inspire 4g has a battery life shorter than a cigarette stub, so I usually have it pretty low. One interesting this is that the Inspire can get a really, really dark screen. at 1% it's difficult to see even when it's pitch black at night.

I usually have it at 25%

On my GS2 Auto off, always set on 33% on gb roms but down to 28% on ics based roms.
About 40% on my desire s.

Mine is always at the lowest setting normally but out in the sun I'll put it on 25 or 50% depending on how bright it is

Mine's on automatic. My vision isn't wonderful, so I tend to need the screen fairly bright, especially for reading (such as text messages or e-books).

I presume the auto-brightness setting is only available on droids with a front-facing camera? I have neither that camera or setting on my feeble Optimus S.

It doesn't require camera, but it does require an ambient light sensor that's separate from the camera. It's to detect how much light is hitting the screen area so the phone can adjust the brightness accordingly.
