What is your first Internet Memory?

In 2000 I opened a google and search some thing about the date of results of senior secondary exams and then i created a yahoo mail account.

Hold on there a minute young fella, let me get my spectacles and walking stick.

My first internet memory was using procomm plus to access the Cleveland Public Library.

BBS'es, Compuserve, Sprint, Delphi, GEnie. PINE, LYNX, and TIN. Tymnet, TELNET... oh those crazy days... When I finally got a 1200bps modem I was really uptown!

I have stumbled into a forum of contemporaries. Although I was an adult, not a kid, I used Procomm Plus (pirated from my brother, of course) to go on the discussion groups at Delphi. Also used Compuserve WOW until it folded.

I remember reading the posts as they scrolled by via my 300 BPS (or baud, can't remember the difference anymore) modem.

And I downloaded one of the grainiest, jumpiest, B&W porn vids ever.

I was working at IBM at the time, in a call center supporting OS/2. IIRC, it had something to do with Webcrawler and porn.
