I am a daycare provider. I absolutely do not need a phone as powerful as the Droid, since I have access to the internet all day, but hey, it's fun having a phone like this!

I have no need for an android device for my job, it's just fun, and having a good job makes the decision easier to splurge on it.

That sucks...I may be out of a job soon too. It's a contract job, but it looks like there is a decent chance I will get hired on permanently. Wish me luck...

**EDIT** Suppose I should have said, I am currently doing Software Testing/Chat support. If I get on permanently, it will still be tech related, but not in the same capacity...
