Root What keeps changing my screen timeout settings?

I set my screen timeout to 2 minutes, and it always resets to 30 seconds. What is causing this? I suspect WidgetLocker or the power saving feature that changes your settings when the battery gets low...but I really don't know.

Is anybody else having this problem? Any ideas?

Hi, lopro. I got my 4G yesterday and that same thing drove me nuts until I figured it out. You have to change your settings in two places (bah):

Settings > Power Saver > Screen timeout

and

Settings > Display > Screen timeout

I know this thread is super old but I know some people may be having this problem with newer phones such as the Galaxy s5. If you have Battery doctor, there is a lock symbol that lets you choose a Screen timeout. Tap that lock to choose your default Screen timeout.
