Did you play around with the scrolling speed settings in nova's options?
 
I used Launcher pro on my old Fascinate phone. Apex seems to work really well on the S3. This version of Touchwiz isn't bad but I really like a scrollable dock and getting away from cartoony icons....
 
Using apex pro for the moment..is there anyway I can put a different background in the dock, I can't figure this out for the life of me. When I had nova I couldn't either. I miss this feature from when I used Go and Launcher Pro. I could be over looking it.

Does anyone else like the vertical, alphabetic list in the app drawer that TouchWhiz offers? With being able to jump to any letter, I find this very intuitive.
Anyway, anyone know of another launcher that has this? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Those launchers have vertical grids but not a vertical list. I had a Windows Phone for a year, which uses an app list with letter "anchors". I'm surprised at how much I've come to rely on this UI feature. It's keeping me on TouchWhiz. :rolleyes:
 
On my SGSIII ADW Launcher never seems to work correctly. Even scrolling seems to cause an odd issue with the wallpaper. I even turned off the scrolling option for the wallpaper.

I wanted a launcher that would change the main screen to landscape when I turned the phone to landscape. The HTC One X does it by default, why didn't SGSIII offer the same option?

Use apex. It does all of these.
