I like the look of the older ones, but they didn't fit my face as well as the newer ones. This is the pair I picked up a few weeks ago (they're also cheaper):

Maybe in person its different but really not to much difference between the two. The new has a bit thinner lens hold at the bottom. I think I would rather have the thicker lens hold and design but it would really matter which ones looked better on me and how they felt.

no I first though the same so I studied them a bit harder. there are some minor differences. but really thats it minor differences.

I love tortoise shell, but I'm a pretty metro type of guy. The wife says I look great in those type of lenses so I say go for it!
