What new phone?

I am looking at getting a new phone. I really loved my Bionic but it is starting to get really slow and I feel its that time to get a new phone. I can not decide on the Droid Maxx or the Moto X and I wanted to ask around. Any thoughts on what I should get?

I really was leaning towards the Maxx but after reading some of the issues I thought maybe I should go for the X. Havent really seen any issues with the X... but maybe I havent looked hard enough too

I assume you're staying w/ motorola, given your candidates.. and most likely Verizon. But since its a wide-open, opinion question, I'll mention that the best bang for your buck would be to go tmo [no contract] [[or a mvno of such like jump]] and get a nexus 5 off the play store [you're guaranteed the latest android build(s) and price is better than competive; manufacturer is lg though].
That being said, above post is correct. Maxx offers bigger screen and great battery life; Moto X offers customized colors [so make sure if you get a case/cover for protection, its clear].

I don't know that those "issues" are. The Maxx running 4.2.2 is the most stable Android phone I have ever owned, it's super fast with a great screen and I never think about the battery any more.

I suggest you go to the Verizon store and handle them both. You will know the instant you pick it up whhcih one is for you. If you don't ... don't get either one.

For the Bionic ... did you do a Factory Data Reset after upgrading to Jelly Bean? It is recommended. Clearing the cache sould improve the performance. I found the turning GPS off on 4.1 was eating the battery and I turned it off whenever could. Running in Safe Mode and comparing that to your normal activity might tell yo that you had an added app that was causing the problem.
