what next?

[jaybo1973]

Hi all

Just finished playing the room. I have to say it is the best game I have ever played on android, its only problem being it is far to short. What could I play now to fill the void? Nothing else had ever drawn me in that much before

I felt the same, as did one of the boys from work. Great game, just way, way too short.

What are you looking for? Something of a similar style, or just a decent game in general?

[jaybo1973]

I don't know. I have played many android games over the last few years. My most recent fad has been with the rooom, endless escape type games. That's how I came across the room. I guess something of a simular style. I was looking at a point and click called machinarium

[El Presidente]

Never played it, but I hear very good things about it.

There look to be a couple of room escape games by coolbuddy: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=coolbuddy com&c=apps

None look as impressive as The Room though.

What about any of the broken sword games (Point & Click)?

[jaybo1973]

Wow. View have made a few. Rooom escape is good, as you said, not as good as the room. I used lo have broken sword many years ago on the Amiga lol.

By the way, what happened lo everyone. These forums used to be packed

[El Presidente]

The Games forum is relatively quiet, but the rest of the place is buzzing.

What's your device? Do you think Horn is worth a look in? There's Bards Tale as well?

[jaybo1973]

My devices are a nexus 7 and a HTC sensation which is getting ready for replacing

[El Presidente]

Horn runs great on my N7, it's definitely worth a shot.

Not The Room, but still a meaty game with a lot to do.

Cool, ill give it a shot. I have been looking at machinium and been tempted.
