What phone should I get in October?

I'm in Afghanistan right now and will be back in October.

Are there any good phones coming out in late september/early october (or even November) that I should be looking at getting for Verizon?

I'd like to switch to a different carrier but I'm going to be rejoining a family plan and can't.

As far as phones, there should be the Motorola Droid Bionic and the Samsung Galaxy S2 out by then. Both 4G LTE with dual core processors. The Bionic might be a good choice if you're looking for one to take overseas since it it will be a "world phone" with GSM support standard.

My advice would be to just hit the store when you can and see which one you like best.

In Oct, the HTC Vigor is rumored to be released then. It will be a top-tiered phone then.

Nexus Prime (droid prime) will be the phone to beat, if you are a power user who roots and roms.
