I forgot what rom that I had on the phone, but once I switched to net10, I was unable to send long text msg, I had to have SMS PRO split my txt msg up. I flashed back to stock and I have no problems what so ever sending long txt msg, but I still receive txt msg in broken up in 160 txt.
What I have figured out that sending long txt msg has nothing to do with 3g, because I was able to send them before I put the settings in for the 3g.
But now I am wondering what is "it" that allows a rom to be able to send a txt msg without blocking from being unable to do more than 160.
If I can find out what is that "it" and what rom has it, then I want it, cause I want to root my phone, and get rid all the crap on stock rom.
I am on 2.3.6 as of the moment. any help would be great.
on a side note, when I had metro pcs, I had this same problem when I flashed to a rom, something about these roms blocking out sending 160+ msg.
