Root What roms do you recommend for a Huawei u8100-5?

I am mostly interested in a CyanogenMod derivative, but anything you consider would be an improvement over the stock rom is very welcome, as I want to squeeze out a bit more performance and flexibility out of this phone.

Hi RCZombie, if your phone is an Ideos U8150 you will find quite a bit of info on Rooting and several different ROMs that are available and what their variances are. if you look through the pages in this Forum.
I think XDA Developers is the one to Google for some up to the minute info. Neil.

The phone is actually an u8100, and I had found the XDA thread with the (surprisingly, tons of) alternative roms before posting this. Since there are so many of them, I was hoping you guys could comment on your favorite(s) so I can narrow down my upcoming search a little.

Hi RCZombie, have you tried looking in the 'All things Root' at the top of this page? There's a lot of Posts there from guys who have rooted and used quite a few different ROMS. Cheers Neil.
