What should I be looking for in a case?

As the title implies, I am looking for a case and want to know what I should consider when making the purchase.

All thoughts/suggestions/experiences would be appreciated.

I use one with a flap that covers the bottom of the Note and folds around the back of it. It is hard and gives access to the headphone socket and IRDA.
