What tablet is this?

PHP87

Android Enthusiast
I purchased it online from China and it was advertised as an "M80"

Antutu benchmark ID's it as a "Q86"

It's an 8", Android 4.2.2 tablet with a 1.2GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A9 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, 1024x768, 3G, 5MP rear camera, 0.3 front camera, provision for a 32 GB SD Card, etc...

The retail box says "Android" and has some graphics of a tablet and apps.

It came Rooted with the Superuser app installed.

I believe it may be an Aiga, but not sure as Antutu and Quadrant don't list the manufacturer.

It's also advertised as 1.5GHz Quad Core, but benchmarks at 1.2Ghz.

I would like to ID the tablet in case I need to download firmware in the future or if I need to troubleshoot it.

Paid $109.00 for it and it arrived from China in about a week.

The Tablet works well and I'm happy with it, but would like to know the exact make/model.

Thanks.

Yeah, it's a good price for what I got. I have a lady friend with an iPad mini that paid over 3x as much as I did and my screen looks better than her iPad and the hardware specs are about equal with the Android tablet having a slight edge although IDK about the quality of some of the hardware used.

I can also install/move apps to SD

Either way, if I get a year out of it I'll be happy.

Anyways, just wondering the make/model in case there is a future firmware upgrade, or if there is a custom ROM available for it but it's likely that this is a "disposable" tablet that will be replaced during the holiday season of 2014 with a better tablet at a lower price.

OK, it's not an Aiga brand tablet. I did find an earlier model M80 on a l i e x p r e s s d o t c o m

Mine has a 5MP rear Camera, Android 4.2.2 and cost half as much as this one.

Still, I'd like to find out more info on it in case I want to upgrade the Firmware or buy a case for it that's made for it.

The tablet at the a l i e x p r e s s d o t c o m site is pretty much the tablet I have. Even one of the pics was used in the ad at the site I bought it at.

The bar code reader on my LG Spirit says "product not found"

BTW, can I put my information bar on the bottom of the screen, or is that only possible with Android 4.1?

Again, I'm happy with the tablet, but I wish it weren't such a mystery. I guess that's why it only cost $109.00

Thanks.
