I boot into recovery, little guy is on his back with a red triangle coming out of him. I can't do a thing, it won't see my files on my phone card, but it does on the external. Won't load anything. What have I done to my phone? I do play a lot with it and pretty sure I know just enough to be dangerous. help????

Are you running GB28 Kernal/Recovery? If so, you'll need to install a custom Kernal/Recovery as you can't only install one w/o the other try the most recent, stable K/R from Agat.

Ok just to let you know this won't work. Everything I try with odin fails and freezes my phone. I get "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." That's why I was trying to start the phone in recovery also. I thought since I lost everything I might as well reset the phone and start over. But it won't even give me that option.
Phones locked up right now because I tried to do this with odin.

Don't know if you can buy there is a link to the official JB update in another thread. Other than that the only thing I could suggest assuming you can't use kies, is make a jig or go to a repair place local to you and see if they can jig it.

Can you still get into download mode? If so have you tried the one click exe files?

got it figured out last night. 2 days of pulling my hair out. It was the kernel. phone is fine and no more loop the loops.
