What time did my text originate?

I just got my Samsung Exhibit2 and I have noticed that when I turn it off at night, I will get my texts in the morning, but it doesn't show when they actually were sent. It will display the time that I turned the phone back on. Is there a way to configure it or look somewhere on the phone to see what the real time is that they were sent to me?
