What to choose

Basically I currently have a optimus one phone (LG) which I find myself pretty crappy. Long load times (takes about ten minutes to boot) and just alot of other small things that appear to be lacking.

With my provider (Telus) I get these reward points every time I use a $100 pre paid card on it and currently have these options.

A free Samsung Galaxy Ace (Not sure if it's the Q) + 4GB SD card

$200 off a Samsung Galaxy S3

Now I don't use my phone much, mainly just when I'm out of the house or in the city for doctor appointments and other general stuff and then it's mainly just IRC / Email / Phone / Text and some site related business. Which would be the best option? I think the S3 is somewhat over the top for me and more so for people who are always on the go. Not really sure what to get to be honest. I'll make sure to contact them today and see if it's the Q model of the ACE or not.

i would choose the s3, but that is me. it is a great phone. however, if you do not want all the bells and whistles then go with the other phone. I no nothing about the ace, but really the decision should be yours to make.

Do you have any way of testing the other phone (friend or in store display)? You don't want to go for the free option and find your phone drags or that it's an outright lemon...

I would go with the S3 as well. No matter the use I think it's always best to get the best phone you can afford.
You'd be surprised at how the ways you use your phone can change when you have a phone that can easily do more,as well as has the memory to hold more apps.
