What to do if even factory rest can't help ?

Now I'm stumped.

Here are some really off-the wall suggestions.

Flash the phone and then skip the registration at first. Then try to add a non-google account (if you have one. If that works then try to add your Google account.

Take out your sim card. Then perform a factory reset. When it boots up, sign into wifi and try to register that way.

Boot inot recovery and wipe all user data and system cache. Then reformat your storage partition. Then factory reset again and see if that works.

Well i dont know if im too unspecific or if i understood sth. wrong but
the first one doesnt work, since i can´t skip it.
I also already tried to use not a gmail but gmx account that was linked to google too, but that didnt work either.

To the next tip i have to say that i don´t know if this plays a role but everytime i was flashing the phone i didn´t have the sim card inside, and since the initiliasation of SmartSwitch automatically deletes everything from your phone during flashing, i can skip that point too.

For the last point, however, i have to say that im a little confused, so i just did it the way i understood:
I wiped the the data/factory resetted, then i wiped the cache partition and the i factory resetted again.
Interesting was that it took pretty long to start up, it stuck on the Samsung logo for several minutes.
Weird is that it shows me that it installs SmartSwitch and others i couldnt identify by solely looking at the icon, nut they should be apps from samsung, before it starts up, and it never did that when i flashed the phone, which is rly weird

That's normal. When you reset an Android device it must recompile installed apps for runtime. If this didn't happen when you flashed with Odin, I'm not exactly sure what you were flashing.

A lot of flash guides tell you to do it with the sim removed but I've I've never seen much of a difference. The point of me recommending you removing the sim card is to force a WiFi connection. You need some sort of data connection to register your Google account.

At this point I'm out of ideas. :(

Ok thank you nevertheless.

And when i flashed it with odin, instead of automatically rebooting, it went into recovery mode so i had to choose that manually and on every flashing guide it says that it would do that automatically, so this is anoter point thats out of the ordinary. but i think that doesnt matter too much.

i asked on xda if they could help me, didn´t get answers yet, let´s see how it will work out.

My last idea i got from a different forum is to undo the frp.
But other than that, im out of ideas.

So let's review for a minute.

  1. Your phone was registered to a valid Google account that you still have access to.
  2. You never rooted your phone.
  3. You performed a factory reset (to remedy a problem with an "innicent" .apk)
  4. You were able to log into the phone following the first factory reset.
  5. You performed a second factory reset because the phone was behaving oddly.
  6. Following the second reset you were not able to log into your Google account on the phone because it said your password had changed, even though you didn't change it.
  7. You are able to log into that specific Google account on a PC and you see the S7 listed in device manager.
  8. You've changed the password for the account and waited the requisite 24 hours before attempting to log into the phone.
  9. The phone has active access to data either from O2 or Wifi.
  10. You've flashed the correct firmware for your device and carrier (multiple times using both Smart Switch and Odin).
  11. When the phone boots you are prompted to select your language, connect to WiFi and then enter your Google credentials.
  12. You cannot register with a different Google account.
I think you may be at a point where you're going to have to go to a Samsung Service Center or a Carrier store (if that's where you bought it).

According to their information about FRP the last thing they suggest under troubleshooting is...
you can send your device, along with proof of purchase, to an authorized Samsung Service Center. Samsung has special tools to reset the phone to factory defaults with no protection enabled.

2. might be that it got rooted because this whole problem started with a download of an apk, which i mentioned in the very first comment, and other frorum member have suggested that the apk might have a root exploiz, so im not entirely sure about that.

5.true, but i did the first one because of the same reason.
6. Well, that happened on the third factory reset. i also did it because the phone was behaving weird because i didnt know what to do and THEN all this started.

9. well i can cancel the wifi and i can take out the sim card, but it wants me to somehow get internet access before pproceeding.

yeah, i went to the carrier store but they told jme i should send it somewhere the can repair it, which is pretty expensive, which is why i try my best to do it on my own with advice from different forums.
But if there´s know way you can help me, i´m probably gonna do that.

so thank you very much for your help.

I doubt very much that the .apk rooted your phone, but even if it used a root exploit, reflashing the firmware would have removed that.

Isn't the phone still under warranty? S7's were just released last year.

The solution is simple..don't crate a new account..don't delete the existing one..don't flash any more..just sign in into through your pc..and go straight and deactivate the two steps verification..then go in your phone and use the last password you received..
Don't worry, no one hacked into your account..it's something funny the account does when you are trying and trying and trying..

Let me know.
