Android Question

Hello, I have a sprint galaxy s3 and im currently running the stock 4.1.2 rom with root access, and I'd like to know if I can can restore it if I don't enjoy cyanogenMOD. I have already made a backup with twrp, but I just want to know what is okay to restore from the backup. for example, it asks in the backup option if I would like to check boot, cache, data, recovery, system, android secure, enable compression, and skip MD5 generation. Which of these can I select so that I can restore the stock rom with root later?

Hi

I think you are asking what to save when you do the backup. Do all except enable compression and skip md5.

Compression gives another way of failure. Md5 is a way of checking file integrity.

It should not actually harm to select everything.

Agreed.

If you want to make the backup slightly smaller, don't back up cache (it's only temporary files). You want to back up the rest for sure, and Roger's advice about compression and md5 is spot on.
