Apps What tool for App which records short voice messages?

I need for my one art project app which allow to record short voice messages up to 10-15 sec and they are saved and stored on my server.

I would like to know which tools you can recommend me to do this little application.
I saw on yotube tutorials with MediaPlayer/MediaRecorder but maybe you can give me better advices.
