what type of LED notifications does the Shift have?

I'm used to the original EVO's left sided LED and the "hacked" LED on the right side of the speaker which is brighter and stays on. Just wondering does the Shift have the same type of LED notifications or just that one LED to the left o fthe earpiece.

Its like the Evo, has two notification lights, one inside of the speaker itself and one to the left of the speaker that is visible.

The LED notification light on the Shift is on the right hand side under the speaker grill if you are looking at the front of the phone. It blinks green whenever you have a notification and only blinks for like 5 minutes before turning off. This same area also has an orange light that as far as I can tell is only used when the phone is charging and stays a constant orange which then switches to constant green when the phone is charged. The phone will not let you know of notifications while it is charging.

I cannot see if there is another notification light buried under the grill. I have never seen anything blink from anywhere other than the known notification light and I just cannot get any good angle where I can see through the grill well enough to see an unlit light.

The little hole to the left of the speaker that is visible in pictures that people used to think was a front facing camera isn't a notification light it is a light sensor that allows the display to auto adjust to dark or light environments.

Someone who works with development on notification apps or someone will need to take the phone apart to be sure if there is anything in there because I just cannot see how you could be able to tell if there is a light anywhere else in there.

The notification light turning off after 5 minutes makes it worthless to me and I cannot find an app that increases the amount of time it stays active for the HTC MAIL app since I don't use gmail. "Missed Reminder" is the best one for everything OTHER than the HTC mail app. I hate being punished for using Hotmail, lol.

notification lights are important to me. I miss the setup on the old HTC Mogul, where you had two separate LEDs, and a choice of red, orange, green, and blue i think. The EVO (original) is the only other phone that is close to that since it has a hidden "wimax" led that someone has hacked to work.

I tried the wimax LED on my Shift and could not get it to work.
