What Virgin Mobile Handsets have you owned?

/puts hands on hips and taps foot..

Um, no. You can't do that. Cuz that'd mean you wouldn't be posting in the OpV forums anymore, and we simply can't have that now can we. :(

On a more serious note though.. gotta do what ya gotta do. At least we'll still see you in the VM forums. :D

Lol calm down I'm not abandoning you guys over there, I'm giving my phone to my girlfriend so I'll still be posting for her :) I'll just be on the triumph thread too

Bought OV at launch
Bought Triumph at launch

The V was a great little warrior but the specs of the Triumph swayed me, and I haven't been disappointed. Sure, it's not perfect, but no phone is, and for $25/month I really can't complain. I'd be tempted to get the Black if VM gets IT (only because the MT screen us a little unreliable at times) , but honestly, I doubt it could be that much better to warrant spending another $250+. CM7 has been awesome, and looking forward to CM9.

Hmm... I've been with VMU for something like eight years now.

date unknown: Kyocera Supermodel (blue backlight and cavern crawl :D)
date unknown: Kyocera Oystr (PoS, I think I gave it to dad)
Christmas 2007: Kyocera Cyclops (favourite non-smart phone I've owned, but then I threw it across the room in anger at my then-girlfriend and caused the earpiece speaker to stop working)
September 2009: UTStarcom Shuttle (PoS, finally got rid of it because the charging connector broke and I was getting tired of resoldering it)
Christmas 2010: LG Rumour Touch (Sister has this now)
March 2011: LG Optimus V (Mom will be getting this soon)
February 2012: Motorola Triumph (bought this the day after my roommate got her Droid 4)

Overall I can say I miss my Cyclops and Rumour Touch a little and my OV a little more than that.

My mom and sister have been on VMU a long time too:
Mom:
Kyocera Party Animal (spilled diet coke on it)
Kyocera Oystr (screen randomly died)
LG Flare (quit receiving signal)
Samsung Mantra (dunno what happened to this one)
Kyocera S2100 (current)
(soon to be brought kicking and screaming into the 21st century with an Optimus V)

Sister:
Audiovox Flasher (I bought this used and gave it to her)
LG Rumour Touch (my old one)

It's not that VM calling it gold it's the countless users who have it in their mind that the truimph is as good as more modern smartphones, when the realists no better,i switched because i wanted a better phone with far superior service, and i can say i got both, but it comes at a price, not once since i have had Verizon and the HTC rezound have i had pull the battery, have a GPS lock issue, have to install a custom Rom,to fix things that Motorala or Huwaii should have fixed before selling it,i have a total of 36 gb of space on the rezound i never will have to worry about low space messages, failed market apps and updates installing.oh and never had a data issue or had to use the Airplane trick to get it to switch from 1x back to 3g.

Understand, my first Triumph was a true POS, but after having problems getting it to boot because it just flat would not boot, I got it replaced under warranty. The replacement phone is much better than the first. In fact of the many problems the original phone had, the replacement only had one major flaw being the GPS and a minor being occasional lack of sensitivity down the center of the screen. This second issue is intermittent and not severe when present like the first one.
Still not worth the 300.00 I paid but worth more than the first phone. All in all the Optimus V IMHO is still a better over all performer, but the second phone is a vast improvement on the first.
And yes, for 300.00 these phones should never have been shipped with such a fubared ROM installed. I currently use a Samsung Exhibit 2 4g from TMoble with a Straight Talk 15.00 BYOD sim and the performance of the phone and service are many times better than the Triumph and of VirginMobile.
The fact that both my current phone and service cost less than that of the afore mentioned items only leaves me wondering if VM is really trying to do things right for themselves and their customers or if they are just paddling up stream with a teaspoon.

By the way the boot problem with the original phone turned out to be the battery, but even with that, I ended up getting a better phone in the end.

Kyocera K9 (the flashlight was cool! Terrible tetris port)
Kyocera Super Slice (lost it)
Kyocera TNT (terrible)
LG Optimus V (good but, small. Too small internal storage)
Motorola Triumph (nice screen. wonky gps)

I've had a LG Rumor touch (which was pretty good, but a resisgtive touchscreen, but a slide out 5 row qwerty keyboard, and I bricked it shortly after I got the OV... Not on purpose...), a LG Optimus V, and a Motorola Triumph.

Flasher v7
Kyocera k10..outlasted every phone I ever had!!
Oyster
Cyclops
Shuttle
Kyocera xtc
lg rumor touch
Samsung intercept
Lg optimus v
Motorola triumph
Lg optimus slider

I know I had at least one VM phone before the Kyocera Wildcard, but I can't remember which one(s). My Triumph is the successor to the Wildcard.

Only Intercept for almost 2 years(edit:sorry almost a year) now(gonna keep it as long as possible) I know not the best phone but hey it works for me.. at $25 since, and Im gonna keep it that way even with a new phone - if I ever want a new phone, want it but just don't know when.

Samsung Intercept (My first Android phone, came over from the zillions of Sidekick versions that hardly any changes in between them)
Motorola Triumph - clocked it down to 1.2ghz from 1.5 and don't see much a difference if at all, running CM7 under Go Launcher EX
Hopefully Evo 3D next!

Wife had the Intercept and I eventually convinced her to get the Optimism Slider.

Edit: Optimus Slider....damn autocorrect......

slash~xtc~lg rumor 2~lg rumor touch~intercept~restore~triumph and now my fave lg optimus v :).....i did love the xtc had it for the longest so far ,slash ans intercept sucked! rumor 2 and touch were good phones as well, triumph had way to many issues just kept constantly freezing . i am very happy with the optimus v

Oh boy, this should be fun.

After being kicked off my family's plan in 2006...
Super Slice
Wildcard (My first, had it replaced 3 times due to issues)
Switch_back (VM gave it to me after not liking the Wildcard)
X-TC (Worst keyboard ever.)
Flare (Backup phone I picked up for 20 bucks on a black friday.)
TNT (Another backup, just because my Flare wasn't working right.)
Rumor Touch (Best keyboard ever. Didn't like the capacitive touch screen.)
Intercept (ANDROID! Well.... it wasn't horrid after I decided to take the punge into rooting, ROMs, ect.)
And currently the Triumph, which I am on my 3rd one. :/

Ive had Virgin for a long time, oldest to newest

Kyocera Oyster
Kyocera TNT
UT Arc
Kyocera Loft
LG Optimus V

I still have the old ones in working condition.

I've been on VM since '09...

LG Rumor 2
LG Rumor Touch (first one broke screen, got a replacement)
LG Optimus V (first one majorly messed up, got a replacement, turned out brand-spanking new)

I may end up holding out till 2015 and see what LTE phones end up on VM...I can almost smell the LG Viper 4G LTE...
