What weather apps you use? Recommendations?

Hello,

I'm currently testing pretty much every weather app I can find on the Skyrocket. I'm wondering which ones do you guys use and which are recommended?

Also,
Which do you find more accurate. I actually find Go Weather accurate when compared to rest.

Right now, I'm playing with Beautiful Widgets. I like it and have customized it quite a bit. Like the high level of customization. Anyone using it? If so, what external applications are you launching from it?

For example, when clicking on the weather graphic on homepage, it takes you to their animated detail screen with 5 day forecast. I would like to click on the 5 day forecast area and launch some kind of weather app that will give written detail on the weather and also some radar maps to view. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

I switch between three; Beautiful widgets, HD widgets and Fancy widgets. All good combination widgets, weather/clock. I don't launch apps from any of them as I prefer direct process for no particular reason.

I:

1. Look out the window (at my thermometer, most accurate)
2. Look down about 20 (or less) threads for "Best Weather App"
3. Use link to favorite Browser weather page (no app)
4. Use this if I want to quickly browse other cities I have set up

Weather apps are about as accurate as weathermen.... not too.

I have two. Weatherbug Elite (1st choice) and Accuweather (Stock). Weatherbug doesn't have fancy antimated widges, but very accurate. Love the doppler radar, current, 5 and 7 days forecast. Detailed by the hour forecast, pollen count, etc. I use Accuweather on my widget clock. (Can't chose Weatherbug for this.)

BeWeather and 1Weather. I find both to be very accurate. They don't have overly elaborate widgets, but they server their purpose.

I'm based in the UK and use - UK weather, Weather Forecast and AIX Weather, all available from the market, with Beautiful Widgets as my main display.

UK Weather offers you the choice of data or map screens with customisable map overlays such as temp, rainfall, humidity etc. It gets its data from the Met Office and I find it very accurate.

AIX is superb too. It's just a little graph widget which gives you the forecast for the next 24 hours but I've found it blindingly accurate, even down to telling my colleagues one miserable, overcast, rainy morning that the sun would be out at 1pm and then low and behold, there it was right on cue.

I would have been burned at the stake for that a few years ago... :D

I've tried a few, and like Weatherbug Elite the best. It seems to be accurate, has lots of information, and I like the widgets.

I love the look of go weather but they don't give enough details, like inches expected and % chance of rain. I used weather channel for a while but found it was draining my battery and wouldn't stay closed when I force closed it. I switched to a local news channel weather app and it's been good so far.

I used weatherbug for a long time, was usually pretty accurate and had a nice minimalistic widget (set to transparent background). I'm using Minimalistic Text now for clock and weather. Weather update have been accurate so far.

WeatherBug Elite has always be accurate and easy to use with a good bit of features. I have never found another weather app worth switching too.
