What will happen?

So did you find out if you are getting the premium data fee on your Wifes line?

We just got the info to look at the account. Her phone lists "Premium Data" but it is set to $0
That's good to know, they didn't tack that extra on (or perhaps they did but zeroed it out for her).

I got the letter from Sprint yesterday about changing the premium status. I'm pretty irate about and am considering switching to Verizon. I'm not gonna be treated like a Verizon customer and get Sprint service.

Actually I roam onto Verizon for free, and seamlessly, whenever I'm out of Sprint coverage. So I do get the Verizon network, but at Sprint's price.

That is a incorrect. You wont roam to Verizon unless Sprints network is unavail. If I could roam to Verizon, my speeds would be great on 3G. Unless you root or do something else to you phone.

Also, I dont think it switches seemlessly. Example, my 450 minutes are used on Lan lines and roaming. If I start a call on roam, and move to a Sprint Area.... I will still use my roaming minutes.

Tqlla, he wasn't saying he chooses which network he wants to be on (i.e. Sprint or Verizon if both are available), he was saying, in these exact words, that he roams onto Verizon for free "when he is out of Sprint coverage." The same is true for me, and it is seamless. Only if I set the phone to prompt me that I am roaming will I realize that I'm roaming.

CarrieK What he said is. He gets Verizons network at Sprints price.

That statement is incorrect/complete. You are only on Verizons network, when Sprint is unavailable.

You are splitting hairs. He said, when Sprint's network is unavailable or HE IS OUT OF SPRINT'S COVERAGE, he gets Verizon's network at Sprint's price. Which is an accurate statement.

If it's a service/repair issue you do not have to pay the $10 fee. That is in the rules and regs.
howiesf got stuck with a $10 fee, because he had to replace his hero.

And why are you people arguing over symantics. You sound childish. And if you all have everything plans of some sort, you don't pay for roaming, you don't have roaming minutes, and I believe the only issue is if you're roaming over a ertain percentage of the time. I think Sprint has some recourse then , but that's about it.

And even with the $10 chg you're not paying Verizon prices, so the attitude with that statement above is quite humorous.

Semantics are Very important. Especially with things like Contracts. Thats why its worth arguing about.

Example:
If it's a service/repair issue you do not have to pay the $10 fee. That is in the rules and regs.

A service issue, sounds like something they will FIX. But it doesnt sound like that include replacements. Can you quote the rules and Regs.

HOIESF sounds like he got stuck with the Fee, and the OP can even see the fee on his wifes line. Its 0.00.... but its there, will it stay at 0.00? I am skeptical.

If your phone is under warranty or if you have insurance you do not have the the $10 fee when activating a replacement phone. Key words are warranty and insurance. If you don't have insurance and damage your phone that requires a replacement, you're on the hook.

Tqlla is just trying to find a way out of her plan b/c she can't afford it even though none of the changes have affected her yet. She reminds me of the friend who has a cheating boyfriend...complains all the time but never leaves him...always has an excuse. For a while you feel bad for her 'cause you like her but then it just gets old. She can take the supposed $100+ in savings and pay the etf and go elsewhere. Lots of solutions have been offered but instead of leaving the cheating lying boyfriend she'd rather just come up with excuses and complain. Besides, if you have to spend so much time convincing everyone the boyfriend is such a jerk, maybe the real problem is YOU.

Aww, sounds like someone is a fan. I am sorry, I am already in a relationship.

OMG that is freakin' hilarious! So you're in a relationship. Big deal. Anyone can be in a relationship. Question is, how much do you complain about it? I'm betting money it's a lot and everyone is probably sick to death of hearing about it. Lol!!!!

This is way OT...point is, quit complaining and do something to rectify the situation. Quit coming up with excuses because it really is getting old. What works for you may not work for others but the constant griping is not productive. Leave if you aren't happy. If you can save so much take that savings and apply it toward the etf and go somewhere that will provide better service. Oh, wait, you can't afford the steak.

The only reason the threads keep going OT is because you keep posting insults, you can post responses without insults.
