What will you be coming from?

My contract doesn't come up until December I believe, when means I might be able to get one of these at a good price from Wirefly by then.

I have no interest in 4G at the moment so I'm glad there will still be 3G phones coming out.

If I do end up getting the Inc2 I'll be coming from a Fascinate. Won't be much if any of an upgrade, but then I'll give the Fascinate to my brother who is on my old Eris at the moment (poor guy).

What phones are you guys going to be coming from?

Either the Droid X or the Inc. 1. Right now I'm on the DX, but I may get an Inc. online to fool around with until the Inc. 2 drops.

I'm really crossing my fingers the Inc. 2 will be just as root and ROM friendly. :(

I'm still loving my eris. Chose it over the mot droid which I thought too big and clunky. Now I'm in the same position-the TB is nice, but just too big.

Dinc. Won't have 4G in my area until around mid 2012 if then, so might as well keep grandfathering in my 3G unlimited as long as possible.

The first Droid Incredible. I'd go for the T-bolt, but I don't have 4G around here yet, and don't see the need for it.

Dinc. I don't currently have 4G at my house, do at work, but my friend who just got the TB says his 4G drains his battery incredibly fast, so no thanks to 4G for now.

you can turn 4g off super easy and the phone will just go off 3g

I have the Dink but thinking about upgrading to a family plan to get the Dink2. Not sure yet. I got the Dink day 1. I don't really need two smartphones but the tech geek in me is driving me nuts. At least I have some time to think about it. LOL :D

HTC Droid Eris...sick of this phone...hovering between TB and Inc2...decisions decisions. No 4G in my area until late 2012...

Ill hopefully be coming from a thunderbolt. Im waiting on someone to get the incredible 2 and realize they wanted 4g and trade, well at least thats the plan haha

Sounds like you're someone who got a TB and realized you didn't want 4g. :P

I will be coming from a Thunderbolt but I would actually like to have 4G....I just don't want to pay as heavily with battery as I've been having to do. I also want a phone that doesn't drop its data connection multiple times per day. I tried all of the work around for both battery life (turning all of my android settings down just cripples what I need it for) and none of the supposed fixes for data drops actually work reliably.

Also, I found 4.3 to be slightly too be for me personally. 4.0 would fit my needs (and hands) much better.

Just gonna point out that the Droid Incredible 1 had the worst battery life of any Android device in history, much worse than the Thunderbolt. The Incredible 2's Snapdragon uses less power than the Incredible 1's, but they will likely put a smaller battery into the device to save costs as well. Don't count your chickens on the Incredible 2 having good battery life just yet. If it does, it will be the first HTC Android phone with good battery life(stock at least, there's plenty of ways to make the phones have killer battery life).

I had excellent battery life on my Dinc1 until Froyo was introduced. I remember all the threads that people started about horrible battery life. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I could make it a full day and still have 'green' battery left. And I considered myself a heavy user of mixed 3g and WiFi, facebook, multiple gmail accounts, twitter... all syncing throughout the day.
The minute Froyo was installed I could not make it to 10pm before my phone died on me. I ended up buying a 1750 mAh extended battery from Seidio. It has since brought my battery life back to those pre-froyo days.
